Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading
Overview
The NCFE Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading has been accredited by the qualifications regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and is part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF).
This is a cross sector qualification aimed at current and prospective team leaders. This qualification covers the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful team leader, covering competencies applicable to a wide range of contexts.

Course content:
The course covers the following units, plus a group of optional units:
- Unit 01 – Manage personal performance and development
- Unit 02 – Communicate work-related information
- Unit 03 – Lead and manage a team
- Unit 04 – Principles of team leading
- Unit 05 – Understand business
Entry Requirements:
This qualification is designed for learners aged 16 and above who are working in or looking to work in a team leading role or similar. There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, learners may find it helpful if they’ve already achieved a Level 1 qualification.
